Hey there! I’m Austin Belzer. I'm a cynic, a perfectionist, high-strung (I'm told), and an overly anxious human being. My journey through life has been shaped by my experiences with Asperger's, ADHD, and Autism, which give me a unique lens through which I view the world. Writing has always been my outlet—a way to express my thoughts and feelings while connecting with others. When Did Austin B Media Start?

The spark for Austin B Media ignited in May 2020 during the surreal days of quarantine. With the world at a standstill and job opportunities fading, I decided to channel my energy into something creative. I spent countless hours brainstorming, designing, and writing—creating a space that would be true to myself. My goal? To connect with others who share my interests and maybe even spark a conversation or two.

How Did Austin B Media Come to Be?

Austin B Media emerged from the ashes of boredom and uncertainty during the pandemic. I found myself scrolling endlessly through news articles and entertainment updates, craving creativity. One fateful day, inspiration struck, and I dove headfirst into designing a logo, building a website, and writing my first posts. I wanted to create a platform that felt authentic to who I am, a space where my voice could shine.

Since that May day, Austin B Media has transformed significantly. I’m now featured on Google News, receive advanced movie copies for review, and have had incredible opportunities to collaborate with fellow creators. Each milestone feels like a step toward turning my passion into something more.

My Unique Journey

My love for movies started early, thanks to my dad taking me to Blockbuster, where I would pick out films that I probably wasn’t supposed to see, like Saw and Juno. Those experiences ignited a passion for storytelling and introduced me to narratives that challenged my perspectives. Navigating life with epilepsy has also influenced my storytelling; it has taught me resilience and the importance of representation in media. I believe every story has the potential to resonate with someone, and I strive to find those connections in my writing.
