Austin Belzer

Editor-In-Chief, Founder, Procurer of Screeners and much more.

Who Am I?

My name is Austin Belzer. I'm a cynic, a perfectionist, high-strung (I'm told), and an overly anxious human being. I love to write. Whether it's on GameSkinny, The BladedTech Show, Proven Gamer, The Vertical Slice, Movie Health Community, or SiftPop, I have always felt the need to write or create.

What is Austin B Media?

Austin B Media is my platform to talk about all the things I love to talk about in everyday conversation. Most of the time, that's movies, but sometimes, I'll find a video game, TV show, album, gadget or maybe I just want to impart some wisdom.

Now, just because Austin B Media is me, that doesn't mean that I am going to share every little thing with you. If something is just worthy of a headline and that's all, I'm not going to talk about it outside of maybe a social media post. If it's something I don't feel equipped to talk about, you won't see me talking about it.

When Did Austin B Media Start?

Austin B Media started in May 2020, because I was bored during quarantine. I didn't have a job and I'd had the need to create again, so I wanted something that represented who I am at all times, hoping people would be interested in what I have to say.

Where is Austin B Media?

Well, if I told you that, I would have to kill you. Kidding aside, I don't give out my address to anyone other than press representatives or other people who might need my address to send me things in the mail.

If you are a member of the press and need my address, feel free to email me at the address under my face. If you aren't, DM me on any social media network I have listed and we'll chat.

How Did Austin B Media Come to Be?

Essentially, it came out of the boredom of being stuck in quarantine and the lack of job prospects. Day in and out, I was just sitting around the house and browsing for news. One day, the light bulb came on and I spent April 2020 creating the logo, designing the website, and writing the firsttwo posts so that I could launch on May 1, 2020. I then spent the next few weeks crafting my privacy policy, creating social media manager accounts so I could easily share my content across multiple platforms, and teasing the launch towards the end of April.

Since May 2020, Austin B Media has evolved a lot. I'm now on Google News, have been given advanced copies of movies to review, and much more that I don't have the time to list here.
